Many of us get caught up in that chatty mind. We all do it. The thoughts go from one thing to another and another, or sometimes we get caught up in the feelings and emotions tied to one particular thought and we cling on to it, holding on to it as tight as a fist, resisting letting it go. When you become a spectator to these thoughts, watching them as if you are watching TV, you can learn to release these thoughts, allowing them to be passive, and you can become more present in the moment. It’s not easy, it takes a lot of sitting, patience and practice, but give it a try! 😉
